Palm Canyon Creek support the nation's largest fan palm oasis and also offers a critical oasis for endangered Peninsular bighorn sheep, the southwestern willow flycatcher and many sensitive songbirds. The creek is a highly significant traditional cultural property. The trail along the creek is popular for hiking and mountain biking.
